The Petal Post has flourished into a beloved local flower shop, serving the community with beauty and care.

Shawn Houk had never even stepped foot inside what became the Petal Post until the day his sister mentioned that the flower shop was for sale. His first response was, “And?” But she insisted it would be the perfect addition to his portfolio. Shawn's curiosity was piqued, and he decided to check it out.

From the moment he walked in, he felt the magic of the shop (formerly known as Ootsie's Blossoms & Boutique) and its deep connection to the community. From that point, he decided to embrace the new venture, and everything fell into place! Incredibly, within a few months, he also expanded the business to another location in Chickasha! Shawn and his wife, Michelle, are excited to continue honoring the store's decades-long roots while bringing fresh energy to the brand.
